Newcastle’s campaign in the 2019 Country Rugby League is set to kickoff on Saturday, March 9, when ten teams clash across four days, and now for the first time all will be lived-streamed by BarTV Sports and CRL on social media.

The expanded Women’s Country Championships will see the North Coast Bulldogs and the Northern River Titans both coming into a fold, as CRL continues to strive for the creation of a strong pathway for players looking to climb to the very top of the national sport.

“Country Rugby League is committed to providing the best pathway for our players and the 2019 CRL representative season is shaping as our biggest one to date,” CRL chief executive Terry Quinn said.

“With the majority of participants in New South Wales coming from regional areas, it’s fantastic to have the support of NRL clubs for our women’s representative competitions.

“With all games live streamed via our CRL facebook page – it’s a great opportunity for fans to possibly see some of the future stars of the NRL or NRLW taking the field.”

All country championship games can be found streamed on or on BarTV’s YouTube channel here.
